Asian Games Closing Ceremony

The 2-weeks longer intense competition will be over tonight with a well-planned closing ceremony held at the Haixinsha Square on the Pearl River. The ceremony will start at 8:06 PM and it will ends after three hours. Lot of superstars will perform live in the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony the flag will be handed over to 2014 Asian Games organizers Incheon, South Korea. Vijender Singh who has recently won the gold medal in the games will be India’s flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the mega-event.

The host China has won the medal tally race with 416 medals that includes 199 gold, 119 silver and 98 bronze medals while South Korea stands on second with 233 medals that includes 76 gold, 65 silver and 91 bronze medals. India also performed well than the previous Asian games and took 64 medals that includes 14 gold, 17 silver and 33 bronze medals.
