The movie is directed by Praveen Sri who is the former associate of Ram Gopal Varma. Dr. Dharma Kartha is the producer of the movie. This movie is the sequel of super doper hit movie on the box office and entitled as Gayam.
The music of the film is composed by IIayaraja. The 20 days shooting of this film were shot in foreign locations in Bangkok. In the movie you will find that the first half of the movie Gayam 2 tells the recap of why Durga (role played by Jagapathi Babu) turns in to Ram. Actually he is explain to his wife Vimala (role played by Vimala Raman) in order to keep his identity hidden. On the other hand Kota role as a politician has criminal background gives some credibility to the film.
In this film he is still struggling to become a chief minister but his son Shankar Narayan sees Durga on the TV alive and this thing made them worry. They want to finish up their old rival and for this purpose Shankar along with a Lawyer went on a journey towards Thailand to confirm that Ram is Durga. The movie is a good combination of Romance and action so must watch this film on the big screen.
