Jayalalithaa Jayaram or also known as J.Jayalalitha was a famous actress of Tamil Film Industry. She was born on 24th February 1948. After the world of film Industry she joined the politics and was also a former chief minister. Currently she is the leader of the opposition of the Tamil Nadu government.

She is also a current general sectary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam which is a Dravidian Party in the Tamil Nadu. She is also known as Amma and by this name she is famous in entire state. Before entering in the world of politics, she had a successful experience in Tamil Film industry as a heroine.

She also played a leading role in the English movie which was entitled as Epistle, released in year 1961. Her debut film was in Kannada language and this movie was the hit movie o that time. The name of this movie was Chinnada Gombe . Her first telugu film was Manushulu Mamathalu.

She was also awarded with Kakaimamani Award by the government of Tamil Nadu. In 1980, she has done her last movie which is titled as Nadhiyai Thedi Vandha Kadl. Beside an actress she is also a singer and has sung my songs in her film career. She was born in Melukote which is situated in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, Karnataka.

She got her early education from the Bishop Cotton Girls High School of Bangalore but after some time she along with her mother moved to Madras State where she got admission in Sacred Heart Matriculation School. She was an intelligent student and also got scholarship from the Government of India. She started acting when she was 15 years old. He married to Vijaya and gave birth to two children.
