Mumbai was under Heavy Rain Fall on Wednesday and Thursday; this rain fall caused harsh disturbances in the areas of Konkan. Mumbai’s many important highways like Mumbai Goa Highway and Reterial Roads are stooped for any type of traffic due to the land sliding.
The railway traffic of Konkan is also very disturbed due to this rainfall and as a result Konan Railway officials have cancelled seven trains and one shot route train. This cancelation procedure is done due to a serious heavy shower along the path or route. Especially the Nivsar Station is affected by this rainfall and has received twenty one cm rainfall.
The serious downpour also caused dreadful visibility. The loco pilots in this section also reduced their speed of trains to 40 mph after the restriction from the officials of this section (Nivsar Station).
